Who says you can only have a new years resolution on december 31st. After much thought and consideration, I decided to give up my Medical Marijuana. For those of you that dont know me, i have 3d degree burns to 50% of my upper body, and because of this i have been on many medications, many of which did more harm to me than good. after getting fed up with taking pills everyday to treat my pain, itching, insomnia and lack of appitite, i resorted to a long time hobby of mine (pot) and it worked great. thank god i live in a state where the use of medical marijuana is not only tolarated but has become a subculture in itself. I was able to stop using all the perscriptions that were causing me problems and i gained back my weight and became functional again. well now almost 4 years after my injury i have become part of the medical canibis culture. met many great people and had a lot of good times fighting with other patients to keep our right to use this medicine that has helped in so many ways.
But now im feeling that I need to let it go. I think im to the point where its not need thats keeping me smoking, its the desire to get high, mabe to supliment the true joys of my life, or mabe the pure enjoyment of the culture just like when i was smoking it in highschool. See the problem is that in highschool it was ok to be a stoner, but i dont want that immage anymore.
So anyways I think im done making it a daily part of my life. I love weed and always will but its still a medication, and should be treated as such. I dont think i need it anymore. so i need to stop. This isnt the first time i quit using medicaal marijuana, I had to to get back to work truck drivin, i went a year without smoking but that wasnt my choicen now it is.
Now for the resolution part, im done smoking, and im gonna put that energy into other things. Stuff like getting rid of the fat at the gym, and taking some classes at the local JC, Improvong my artistic ability, especially my furry art which up untill now hasnt got the attention it needs to get better. Really I would like to put a lot more energy into the fandom. So expect to see more of me.
Self improvment feels good. Really good. Its like a high in itself and i intend on doing alot of it. So wish me luck -Torchy

I think about reality.and deep down i long for a place where real love exists,a place where people can be themselves, a place free from selfish gain and be accepted for who they are. i long for unity and peace, and real friendships, but nothing seems real around me. reality is too hard to face anyway. like daylight. i pretend its not there and hide under the covers. when your in the dark you can hide form all that is real.you can be whoever you want,you dont have to face up to who you really are, because when its dark no one can see you! im growing weary and tired of the life around me. i want to find somthing real, somthing pure,somthing i can put my trust in. i want to be free from the lusts and selfishness of life. i want to somehow break down the walls of seperation around me and love from a pure heart. It seems im trying to be pure in an unclean world, i ask myself so many questions, is there any hope left? Does real love exist? Can we really break down the walls we build around ourselves? Is there such thing as unity?

Holy mother of cow eaters!! !!!!! ever have one of those days where everything you planned happens exact oppisite from what you oexpect?? hehe im sure you have!!. OK so I need to vent... please hang with me... i could use the support right about now. ( im gonna go ahead and throw puncutuation aside for now because frankly at the moment i dont have the pachience for it... and fuck spelling right now too..)< and even my spelling and typing has gone to crap but i will blame that one on the alchahol.. OK as i was saying,.. so anyways.... My last post was about me going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Well i made it . And i happened to hook up with another driver who has the same load as I going the same place. so i accepted him and ran with him all the way down here from Arkansas. So we made it here. Got here this mornin. a day earley.. the guy ( i will call him BIg D) i was runin with seemed cool at first, so i treated him with respect, as i would like to be treated. We had a great time runin together down here ., we got here this morning. and were gonna go have a good time exploring the city. ( were about 1 mile from the french quarter in N E ) . Well we didnt make It any farther than the Bar at the truck stop. , We started with .50 cent drafts, ( we were off duty till the customer for our loads could get his head put of his ass and figure out when to schedual us for an appointment to unload our trucks buts thats a different story) and were having a good tome. this dude is 50 years old and kept telling me that the trick to drinking is not to show that your drunk. well about an hour later i come to find out that this dude is a full blown alchaholic and CANT handle his shit. so were in a bar at the truck stop and having drinks and he gets too drunk.. and all the problems happen... ended up telling him to

I really must have felt like bitching. haha thats SOOO not me. plz belive it. when i read the draft that lj saved for me i couldent remember why i was mad? had to read it to remind myself. wow alot has happened since i posted last. GUESS WHAT?? im not a long haul truckdriver anymore. no i didnt fail the drug test and get fired. actually they gave me a new local gig that pays more, and i get to go home every day and sleep in my own bed and get days off every weekend!!! pretty sweet huh. and the best part about it, NO MORE ALCAHOLIC SUPER CHRISTIANS TO BE STUCK WITH...lol Anyways. life is good for now, working my arse off but at least im making some cash to play with on the weekends. gonna be looking to rent a room if i can find one closer to work so i dont have to commute everyday. would like to find one with some fellow furrys or babyfurs would be cool. if anyone knows of a place i can rent in the IE please let me know..

after taking 34 hours of much needed rest im back on the road. i got a chance to catch up on some things and am prepared for another couple weeks of truck driving madness. Im in a really good mood today and hopefully that wont change for a while. They gave me a load heading to Willsonville Oregon so if anyone is in that area or the general Portland area ( I know there are a few of you) Please hit me up! I should be there for a day or so at least.

Except when your a truck driver.... I was in Reno last night, i got a load heading to the San Francisco area, so i picked it up this morning at 0100 and headed west on I80 toward the west coast. when i saw the signs saying tire chains were required over Donnor pass i knew it was gonna be a shitty morning. i was already running late on my load and didn't really have time to chain up. I pulled over when i got up the mountain made a failed attempt at installing the chains on my rig. long story short, throughout the earley morning hours (while most of you were all snug tight in your beds likley) made three more attemps at installing the chains on this damb truck of mine. I went through two pairs of gloves and my clothes and boots are covered in mud and road grime. YUK! I decided to pull off the highway in Truckee and wait the chain requirements out. Around 0900 i decided to give the chains one last try since they were saying that was gonna be the only way to get off the mountain. Fourth try was a charm. i managed to get two sets of chains on the truck when the sun came out. first thing i herd when i climbed back into my cab was "Chain reguirments have been lifted east and westbound clear to go" SHIT!! SHIT!!! SHITY SHIT SHIT!!! I climbed out and pulled the chains off the truck and reinstalled them back on the hanger on the side of the truck and got off that mountain like a bat out of hell. But by that time i was almost out of hours on my logs and wasnt able to deliver my aready late load. so here i am stuck in Lathrop CA at our yard here till sunday afternoon at least Anyway Bitch Bitch Bitch I know. Looks like im starting to get this trucker thing down. God I cant for summer !
Anyway if anyone reading this is in the Stockton/ Lathrop area along Interstate 5 and wants to hang out with this pup and save me from being absolutly board this weekend, please feel free to hit me up!! PLEASE!!!

was rolling down the road earley thismorning listining to the various morning radio shows in central california, when i herd the news!! Mike Phelps was caught smoking the sweat leaf. I was like fuck yeh!!! there might be proof that smoking bud might have some benifits. shit if the fastest swimmer in the world puffs then well.. it was stoopid how big of a deal the media is making it though. shit the dudes 23 years old, and already won some olimpic gold medals. for god sakes hes been working his ass off training for such achievments, isn't he entitled to a little RnR afterwards? hes doing what most people do a 23, having a good time with life. i say he should of stood up for marijuana, and protected its reputation, instead he kinda bitched out saying he was sorry for "regretable" behavior. and that he wont be doing anymore smoking of the pot. Im gonna go ahead and call a big BULLSHIT on that one. he will smoke again. And for his so called friend that took the picture and then ran to the news media with it, he should be kicked in the nuts. or mabe this was just a publicity stunt thought up my Phelps ' manager. mabe he could get some publicity in the sub culture. shit mabe weve got a new spokesperson for Bic lighters or Zig Zag? and now that i think of it, he did look kinda stoned in that rosetta stone comercial he did. Smoke one for us stoners out there Phelps cuz the only speed records we will be setting is how fast we can devouer a dominos pizza 555 deal.

it was said that the earth mabe slowing its rotation. i think thats complete bullshit because lately things have been happening faster than ususal for me. FC is over now. theres enough furs posting all about it on LJ that i think ill pass on postong too much about it. long story short i had a blast!!! If you were there to share the good times with me then you know what im talking about. it was everything i expected and more. after FC ended on monday my plans were to hang around northern california till the weekend and go on the shasta trip. Well plans changed. my company called and said they needed me back to workk because they had my truck waiting for me. so i cut my trip short and headed to work. the company gave me a 2005 freightliner columbia (kinda a pos but im not complaning) . I have been driving hard ever since. its taking me a little bit of effort to get used to being out on my own, but im getting there. theres alot of things i have to remember. all in all im having fun. been so busey though. other news? got my fursuit. its with me in my truck. thinking about taking some pics of me in it out in front of the truck. well see. oh yeh got some new con badges at FC . there in my gallery.
Im in norther california right now waiting for a load. kinda bord at the moment.. probably get out the sketch book and draw "Crist of Fur" and "Santa Claws" passing the joint to eachother. heh yeh im pretty bord so anyways....

Ok .holy crap! update Back in town and getting ready for FC 2009. http://shastasnowtrip.com/shastasnowtrip/welcome.asp said i wasnt gonna go but hell i i took the time off. i got some cash in mah procket and a place to sleep...... ma twuck. my plan?? you may ask? well today... shit im not gona tell you all that . basiclay im off work until they give me a truck in two weeks. passed all the tests (including the piss test)m and officially finished with training for the company..Yes i know..crazy ok not really.. shit oppisites are Fun oh wait no there not : P
Anyways im planning on leaving fryday morning, hitting up the doctors oppointements in the morning then cruzing up to San Jose for FC . checking that out over the weekend. then couch surfin for a couple of days untill my buddie nate gets up there. hopping in ol' StellaBlue a 58 vw panal van , (the same 58 panal thats sitting in nates barn right now with the motor out and breaks off of it ) and heading out for the shasta trip! . thats a diffferent story though. something ill save for another day.
So yeh FC huh? most defanantly sounds like fun. hoping to meet some new Furs. mabe check out the Art show,, get a comish or two? who knows. if you happen to see me there, come up and say hi! Okay .. now that i got that out of my system. Today was uneventfull. some nerd at the truckstop was like HEY!!! THATS COOOL pointing at mu ling sleeved AFI shirt i have on at the moment. Of course he maid it a point to show me his AFI jacket. i was half asleep but i managed to say "Oh are you in the fan club??!!" and gave him the double thumbs up and a big ol goofy smile. he laughed and gave me my change and i left. im not really an afi fan. im more of a fan of buying there shirt at the salvation army for two bucks. i guess they have a good song or two, i dunno really.
Almost home, were in az now and i should be back in town by noon tomorrow. todays payday so im gonna put in an order to either bambino or secure to build my stash for when i return to the road. let you know how that goes.

Hey all Happy Sunday! gonna keep this one short and sweet. first off,, i know my typing could use some work. its hard to type while riding in the back of a moving truck. im working on it. Today were on our way back to southern california via the I 20 to the i10 so i drove through alabama, mississippi, louisiana, and am now going through fort worth texas.we picked up a load of Goodnights boxers, Huggies, and toilet paper heading to Kimberly Clark in redlands CA. Yay Diapers!! we will deliver on tuesday and guess what! ill be done with my training! ill take a road test for the company and they will assign me a truck. that should be fun. as for interesting stuff that happened today, there wasnt much. Im mississippi there was this guy, i dont want to say he was a bum or hobo, but he did look homeless. he was walking down the side of the interstate carrying a huge wooded cross over his back. the cross had wheels on the end of it so the bottom end could roll on the ground. i figured he was taking it with him on his travels. i would have loved to stop and get his story, but there was no where to pull over. mabe he was on some religious journy or mabe trying to make a statement or mabe he he just did too much acid in the 60s. OR MABE IT WAS JESUS HIMSELF RETURNING TO EARTH!!!! either way i hope i run across this fellow again somtime. would love to get his picture and his story. it was just another random sight to see on the road. other than that everything else was pretty boring today. i kinda felt like crap all day, musta drank too much coffee this morning. ok gona sleep now. ok today started at the Texas Louisiana border. got to sleep in and extra hour wich was nice. theres this little BP gas station in Missisippi that has a little BBQ cafe inside it. weve stoped there a few times and its always been really yummy. 8.00 will get you 6 ribs, and two sides that are almost a full meal themselvs. people down here in the south hare kind of funny the way they talk though. i ordered my plate, the usual 6 rib combo i always get and the lady behind the counter asked what my two sides are gonna be. i asked for the baked beans and pointed to a really yummy looking chicken dish and asked what it was. she said it was glazed chicken. sounds good ill have some of that i said. the she replyed, " you know thats meat right?" a little confused i said " yep im pretty sure it is thanks" well when i got my bill i realised why she said that. the chicken dish was extra. a whole 3 bucks extra. woohoo big deal! i just thought it was funny she asked me if i knew it was meat and not if i knew it was extra money for the meat sides. anyways it was a good breakfast and i even had leftovers that i took with me back to the truck.
Ok time for somthing serious thats been bugging me. seems everyday i have to see way too many pets dead on the side of the road because they wandered on tho the highway som somone hit em. I have a seriously soft heart for animals and when i see dead ones it makes me really sad. Today while i was in the state of mississippi, i say three stray dogs running down the side of the highway. every one of them i wanted to stop and take them home with me. it made me sad because i cant stop to pic them up. Down here in the south people dont have fences around there yard and dont bother ot keep an eye on there pets and let them run around everyware. then when there pets end up under the tires of an 18 wheeler they just go out and get another one. really sad. but whats much worse are the assholes that cant take care of there pets and decide its a good idea to drop them off at the rest area or on the side of the road. Today i stopped at a rest area to change out with my trainer and there was a dog running around. i wisled at it and it came a little closer to me. i saw it was really skinny and underfed. it clearly had not had any food in a while. I ran back to the truck grabed my left overs out of the mini fridge and gave them to the dog. He went for it instantly. i left him there to eat his meal and i went to the bathroom. after i returned to the truck i watched him wander around the rest area. i could tell he was looking for me. he wanted to come with me. he wanted to have a home. so sad. i swear somday if i ever get ritch somday im gonna travel around the country and pick up all these strays and take them home and start a rescue. hopefully find homes for them. i think im going to sign up for this http://www.operationroger.rescuegroups.org/ mabe i can help a few strays find homes while im out here on the road. Alright im done with the sappy stuff for now.
Gonna deliver my load tonight in atlanta georgia and probably get a shower at our termanal. i will be heading back west tomorrow and probably be taking the same route in reverse. ill let you know if anything interesting happens.
random thoughts for today? How about automatic ass gaskets! it occured to me while in the bathroom today that after all the years of being potty trained, i still could not figure out how to make those paper ass gaskets work. every time i try to use them they rip in half or fall in the toilet before i can sit on it. Could somone please re design these to make them more user friendly??!!! shit literaly!! Is there any proper way to use them that im missing? mabe they should put instructions on the wall in over the toilet. or how about some king of button you press ans one slides out and automaticaly sticks to the toilet seat. and when you flush it goes down the drain. Hmmm . or mabe i should just go back to diapers and say no to public bathrooms. Now theres an idea!

heh Texas is officially the smellyest state in the union. woke up in El Pisso this morning and thankfully was out of that shitty city before the sun came up. XM radio was keeping me entertained for most of the morning untill i got bord with about all of the channels and shut it off. so i decided to mingle wth other truck drivers so o turned on the CB. there was a few truckers chatting about how they HAD to get to main in a hurry and HAD to break the speed limit to get there. I decided to try to enter there conversation but to no avail. i think my voice did not sound redneckish enough for them. well they passed by me going about 75 - 80 mph and i was doing the maximum for our trucks 61 mph. i herd them asking the westbound traffic of the bear report ( no not the magizine for hairy gay guys , its trucker talk for where iss the cops hideing). well about ten miles later i saw one of them pulled over with mister bear writing him a big ol fat tickit. i had to chuckel a lil bit as i passed him by doing well under the speed limit. then there was another truck that passed me by and hisrear inner tire on his trailer was blown and about to start a fire so i got on the cb and doing my best impression of a redneck, which sounded more live a five year old asian kid with a lisp, i warned him of the tire. he actually thanked me and pulled over. +1 trucker carma. well it takes us a full day to get across texas and we will probably stop somwhere in Louisiana tonight. anyways this pup is pooped so im gonna get some much needed sleep.

Yay! my first entry into LJ. Im goona try this again. i just got done typing a bitchin entry into LJ and my clumsey fingers hit the back button my my key board and erased it. now i goota start over, and frankly my motivation is running low. A quick backround; I am Torch babyfur born and raised in sothern Califinia. Im 22 years old going 3 and a half. im a burn survivor of four years due to a tanker truck fire. my fursona is a german shepard husky pup. I recently started a new carreer as a truck driver and am in my fith week training with my driver mentor Roland. as im writing this im riding in the sleeer of rolands 18 wheeler. hes at the wheel and were somewhere in new mexico. I have about one more week of training before the company gives me my own truck and im out on my own. i am soo ready to get out on my own. it will definatly be nice to get back into diapers. Yes i said diapers. im planing on going into em 24-7 while out on the road. whay you ask? because i can. it should make life a litle more interesting. and the convenience of not having to stop to use the icky truckstop bathrooms should be nice too. anyways i plan on posting every day about my journies. i will post stories, random thoughts, and iteresting thigs that happen to me. i will try to get a revolving picture gallery going too. also i wanna meet other abdls and babyfurs while out here so i will try to keep posted my whereabouts in case anyone wants to meet up somtime.
Today; today was pretty uneventfull. there was only one thing worth talikn about. we were picking up our load at a medical supply wearhouse in ontario CA (we haul Medical supplys back and forth from georgia and california) and when i was driving out of the place somthing caught my eye. i looked ans saw a huge dumster filled with packs od asult diapers. it was a dream come true for any diaper pup! my mentor must have sawme looking at it because he mentioned that the sometimes order too much product or get defective product and they end up throwing it away. my hart sank as i realized i could not think of any excuse to stop and explore any further. wish i was by myself. i i had been i would have had a truck full of diapers right now lol. oh well. i thinks thats all that happend today. will post more tomorrow
